DESIGN
- “MES” Street Light Cutouts, in Sheet Steel construction with Drip-proof hood, have been specifically designed, keeping in view the application and climatic condition in the Gulf region.
- “MES” Street Light Cutouts are complete with Neutral & Earth bars and internal Earth plate / Gland plate.
- In addition to meeting all the technical requirements, special care has been taken to ensure the excellent corrosion resistance.
- To facilitate easy installation and connection of cables, requisite numbers of Knockout holes are provided along with prescribed type of cable glands of required size.
- During wiring/installation, the cover can be completely opened by removing a single screw.
CONSTRUCTION
- “MES” Street Light Cutouts are manufactured with provision, out of extra thick, best quality EG / Hot Dip Galvanized Sheet Steel and Powder Coated for smooth finish and protection against harsh climatic conditions.
- A versatile Terminal block, made of Polyamide 6.6 non-hygroscopic material, specially designed for cutouts is provided for loop-in and loop-out cables.
- The terminal block features excellent mechanical and electrical characteristics: high insulation resistance, tracking resistance and fire/arc resistant.
- Cage type terminals feature Allen-key tightening screws with pressure clamps for better and stronger cable retention. These are suitable to terminate up to 3 x 35 Sq. mm cables looping in & looping out.

RANGE
- “MES” Street Light Cutouts are available in a complete range from one to six outgoing type either with Fuse Carrier or MCB (suitable for 50 Deg. Celsius) to fulfill all utility requirements. Special small sized cutouts are made for 4.5 meters poles.
